Well, as many of you know I was supposed to launch my website from a while back but it got delayed because of current projects I was working on and unfortunately I had to wait on graphic designers as well. I never realized how annoying it was to not be capable of do something on your own and having to wait on others to do it for you. Annoying. lol. Aww well, so here's one option for the main page and I'm currently having another good friend work out another option. Stay tuned.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately on how I could market myself. I have posters and that market alone is doing wonders but what if I added something else to the mix like clothes.... Thongs to be exact. Men love them and women wear 'em plus I have this odd obsession with lingerie and it seems like everyone in Toronto designs their own T-shirts and jackets. I think I'm on to something here.... give me a while and we'll see how far I take this idea or whether I decide to expand on something else. lol.

Myspace and other community websites definitely can make this world so much smaller than it really is. Years ago I had posted an image on my personal myspace page where a young graphic designer had taken it and gave it more of a colourful appearance and a cartoon characteristic. I adored it and it was so funny that we had the honour of meeting each other this year while shooting for Candy Clothing.

Maxwell Toonz Bonsu is young and has a vibrant outlook on photography. This new found talent of his is already putting veterans to shame. He's creative and extremely talented plus he has a "wicked" personality to match. Adorable, creative and smart are tree deadly assets to have while handling a camera and capturing images of half naked females. lol. Be sure to watch out because Max and I will definitely be doing a collaboration together to start the new year right. I'm getting older so my images are only going to get better and hotter.

°o.O Latest Modeling Endeavours O.o°

2009 appears to be a year filled with great promise for me. I'm actually planning on doing a collaboration with another Toronto-Native, Ms. Chan Loo. I have perfectly orchestrated a few trips for the few months left in Winter. I've decided to make a few trips to Michigan, New York, Louisiana and finally ATL with Ms. Loo.

Photography
I've done it again! I decided to shoot again with Sweet FX Studios who happens to be responsible for some of my best images. I experimented with various ideas and props which were much more personal to me than the last time. I used my Boa Constrictor Snake name Chocolate to show more of a raw effect, a nursing uniform considering I'm currently studying practical nursing and again how could I forget about my raw-edgy side.

Next year I plan to be very selective with the photographers I work with. I'm planning to shoot more with photographers abroad than our locals. That way I can get a variation of looks or ideas in my portfolio.


Film
I've been recently approached by a few casting directors and film directors in regards to movies, commercials and ads and it's definitely something I plan to entertain in the next yr. To help me with becoming even more camera-friendly I've even decided to do more filming of my photo shoots.

Hey Everyone!
It has honestly been a hot minute since I voiced my opinions, thoughts or feelings about what's going on with my part-time modeling career, life and society. With Obama as America's President Elect for 2009 it showed me the importance of change and how society is open to change. I'm still trying to swallow the idea of America having an African American as their President. It's a day many of us never thought would actually come. It brings so much joy and inspiration to me and because so many people decided that America was in need of a change, so have I. I think the world is in need of a change. I've been so privileged to live the best of both worlds and meet so many wonderful people from all walks of life that have definitely altered my perception of beauty. I hope that my vision of beauty can translate unto my images and work. Stay tuned.
